How is this law ??? What is THE LAW. Is this another judge ruling on emotions and not law ?

The NCAA does have the right to have its RULES and if not followed, PENALTIES !!!

Remember that silly thing called accountability and consequences ? Oh well, sport has just gone to hell in a hand basket. Dave is right when he says Rose should be in the Hall, but there needs to be accountability when you break the rules. He broke the rules that were then. But now, the promoting of sports books by sport, all sport, makes the Rose thing quite hypocritical now.

And don’t be fooled, gambling and associating with gamblers can and does affect performance when the athlete has active involvement.

Insightful, funny--but I can't quite decide if this was tongue-in-cheek or just dodging a take. Either way, it works. Pete Rose should not only be in the baseball HOF, a statue of him should stand at the entrance. Gambling may be an addiction but it has nothing to do with a player's performance. It's none of our business. Let's work on not stigmatizing people and minding our own business.

God help us if this doesn’t get overturned. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Judge had some money riding in the prediction market regarding the outcome.

psssst, my company is going public next week, but it's a big secret. Not that I think you should, you know, stock up, but I'm not sayin' you shouldn't, you know. Just tell them to take your word for it that you didn't have any insider knowledge. Hey, no one's goin' to jail or anything like that!

Would just get you level with Congress. Nothing to see here.
