What a stunning endorsement of the quarterback as savior this past NFL weekend was. You’re not winning without a great QB, and that’s it. Your team risks utter irrelevance if your quarterback isn’t your best player, and if your franchise’s general manager isn’t about to pick your next great signal-caller or lock up your current one, he should be jettisoned immediately in favor of someone who understands pro football roster-building.
There. Oversimplified enough?
