Great article. The Thunder were clearly the best team in the league regular and playoff seasons. I m not sure that the declaration of years and years and years is accurate. At some point very soon the very same salary cap rules that small market teams like the Thunder wanted will come back to haunt them. This young talent you describe will want to be paid. Will the club pay them and pay the subsequent fees. In the immediate future, the Thunder are the team to beat.

Presti is an outlier among NBA GMs. He doesn’t play the instant gratification game. Instead, he plays the very long game. Congrats to OKC.
